Yesterday I must have left my Curve on my lap while inside my car and got out and back in a few times over the course of about an hour and a half... last used my phone at 2:48pm (as per my T-Mo site)... by 4pm I couldn't find it. My girlfriend constantly sends me messenger messages and at about the same time I last used it (and also got out of my car for the first time), my Messenger status went to busy for the next half hour, and then in and out of availability.
The worst part of it is that I had no keylock set up, and had a 1 GB memory card inside (which was fairly new, so luckily there wasn't much on it). I have everything backed up on my PC (contacts/notes/calendar via Outlook), but there was still some personal info in my notes and calendar. I'm hoping there wasn't anything that gives too much away (no social, DOB or anything else I can think of), but someone can definitely figure out where I work and live.
Since chances are I'm not getting it back now, I'm hoping the phone got crushed or fell in a sewer drain. It did start snowing heavily for about an hour shortly after I lost it. Ugh, this sucks...
A replacement is en route -- I used an upgrade offer on one of the lines on my account which is somewhat comforting -- $100 off
I had gotten this thing the day it was released.. I hounded CSR's until they had one in their hands. At least I get a dust-free screen now
