Call AT&T - no. seriously, don't waste your other four entry points. Talk to tech support first.

They should have sent you the instructions on how to unlock your BB, with the code, if they did I would carefully follow it step by step

AT&T could have gotten the wrong code from RIM. There should be a way to escalate the SIM unlock code request where AT&T contacts RIM. I know T-Mobile has a process in place to do that.

What do you mean the "email IMEI is the same"? The code they send you should NOT match your IMEI number. The unlock code will be different than the IMEI already on your device.

I followed those directions too. It says code error please wait. Should I try gsmphonesource? If the one I get from them doesn't work would I get refunded?

I don't know about refunding, you will need to ask the unlock vendor that question, it's their business.

Personally, I would go to HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, Canada’s Cellular Repair Center ß, if it were me. I have used gsmphonesource too, though.

So I'm waiting for an unlock code from gsmphonesource. I have an unlock code that doesn't work what if they were the same that would be weird but I'm really hoping they are different.
