Hey,

I just unboxed my 8900 and was trying to upgrade DM to the 4.7 that came on the disc but I keep getting the following error 1406 and it says that it can't write to some directory in the registry.

I attached the screenshot...

Any ideas cuz so far this sucks.

Oh and I have a previous version installed from my 8320

I can't get links right now. But do a google search for error 1406 and there will be explanations and resolutions to look at.

Is this your personal computer or work computer?

Also is this Windows XP or Vista, if Vista right click the install file and choose Run as Administrator or disable UAC User Account Control.
