Default Help - Tweaking Tip

Please Login to Remove!

I can't seem to find the tweak tip with regard to shutting off a keystroking logging function.

Someone posted a tip last week involving bringing up the keyboard and typing a couple backslashes in order to deactivate a logging function that slows down the Storm operation. Several members commented that it sped up the phone's operating speed.

Anyone recall the tip and how it is performed?

Wirelessly posted (9530)

This only clears the logs it does not disable them. I believe those who experienced increased speed or performance was through clearing the logs followed by a battery pull.

Does the battery pull somehow disable the log function? What is the purpose of the key log?

No, it doesn't disable the logs. They're still being kept whether you can see them or not. The battery pull frees up more available memory which in turn (generally speaking) makes the phone operate faster.
