Just got off the phone with Verizon Wireless and there is a confirmed data outage that is affected all of NJ and several other states all up and down the East Coast. I asked the CSR what he thought the issue was, and he said it literally just happened about 20 minutes ago and the calls are starting to pour in as we were discussing the issue.

North Carolina is still in a data outage though. Been out for more than an hour. Verizon has not estimated time of repair. They also stated its a nation wide one. GREAT!

still out for you down in NC? ouch...

everything is back and running up here in the NYC / Northern New Jersey area.

the Tier 1 CSR said that he thinks it was due to the storms which is a bunch of bullsh*t considering the ENTIRE East Coast went out and it was only storming in the Northeast .
