I believe if you just reload the OS (by downloading it from your service provider), and reload without restoring data, that would completely wipe the BB.

Have you tried using the Desktop Manager software? You can remove the app in there.

Go to Options > Security Options > Wipe Handheld.

This will wipe your BB.

It won't delete Applications - "Wipe Handheld" only erase customer data.
