Default New to BES admin walking in on a real problem, plz help.

Hello all,
I am so new to Blackberry, I haven't even owned it for 1 week yet. I am managing the IT for a small business that has a BES. They were paying some IT guy 125 an hr before me to come in occasionally.

Here is the background from what I know of the problem. Quickbooks enterprise was mistakenly installed on the BES, then removed after all kind of trouble.

At that point, the attachment and enterprise reg services ceased to function. The IT guy called BB and after much trial and error they recommended a FULL wipe of BES and reinstall.

I have performed all of the actions that BB has requested and to no avail. I have a feeling that BB is not going to be more help, and am dreading wasting my entire day on this again. BB mentioned to the other tech guy they think the msxml parser is broken.

Does anyone know which version of the msxml is the correct one, since they have so many patches for it? Please someone tell me they have seen this issue, b/c I have searched many forums with no luck.

I mean did you do the full wipe and install? That is the best solution. Then just add the users back into the BES from the GAL.

I figured it out since this post. Uninstalling quickbooks enterprise apparently messed up the xml parser and when we reinstalled the BES we did not install the correct version of the parser. As soon as I got the correct version of the parser on the server, the reg services and attachment services started working again.
