Ok so this is why I am not seeing my e-mail folders on my new BB that I just got back from servicing.

Whew, thought I was doing something wrong.

I spoke to a AT&T rep in tech support with this issue two days ago with HOTMAIL and he said "MSN/HOTMAIl is now using a different server but didn't inform anyone of the change so it was a national issue that was being handled.
I had to delete my emails from my bb, reboot, and resend the service books and some of you may have to do the same thing.
good luck.

Glad I found this, I thought I was going nuts as I just successfully configured BIS last night!

Short story: AT&T, So Cal, BES working great, BIS down

Long story: I've had BES on my new Curve working nicely for several weeks. JUST configured BIS/Yahoo for personal email yesterday evening -- it was working nicely. When powered the Curve back up this morning, BIS wasn't working. At first, could send emails but not receive. Then neither. Reset device, resent service books (after having a hard time logging onto the BIS/AT&T site -- now I realize it must be getting hammered by a lot of people having problems). Still not working. Was about to delete and reconfigure the Yahoo account on BIS, but I guess I'll wait to see if things clear up...

I work in the IT dept for Alltel wireless and this was sent to everyone early today:

"BlackBerry Internet Service subscribers may experience delays in sending or receiving messages due to a service interruption on the vendors side.

A status update will be provided every two hours and you will be notified of final resolution."
