This may have been asked before, but since software and mobile sites change so much, I wanted to know what the latest and greatest was.

Was is the best mobile site, application, etc. for getting up-to-date college football scores? I currently use Viigo for a couple other sports, but it does not yet provide NCAA scores. Also, I have ESPN mobile bookmarked, but there has to be better.

Anyone have any suggestions

Moving to the Aftermarket Software section.

Using Viigo, you can set to grab RSS feeds, etc., from any website. Do you know of a good site that provides the scores via RSS?

You can go to ESPN mobile and set up alerts to be sent via SMS to your phone. You can set them to After Final Only, Each Quarter and Final, Each Scoring Play, Each Scoring Play and Final or Each Scoring Play and Each Quarter and Each Final.

I have unlimited texting so I use this with several things. You can set it up to send you scores from any team in any sport and breaking news right when ESPN finds out about it. I get about 25 or so messages a day from ESPN alerts.

How prompt is the delivery (real time score changes) from ESPN? I've signed up for Yahoo!'s version and have noticed that it is extremely delayed. Can you set up email alerts there or only SMS?

It's very prompt. Within 2 minits usually. And as far as I know, it's only through SMS.

It looks like my prayers may get answered next week! Viigo is releasing an updated version of its beta Tango and it includes NCAA!!!!

"it looks like the next iteration of Project Tango will be showing up next week with some cool new features. My favorite is the ability to customize the homescreen channels to my taste by adding and removing options.

Man I have tried the ESPN alerts many times. I'm an ESPN fanatic and this is a must for me.

So how do I get it to work? On the signup I put my username/pass in. And then it askes me for my phone num. I put that in and hit submit.

Then nothing happens.... However I did just notice a lock on the top of my browser (using opera mini) What do I need to enable so I can finish the sign-up process?
