I can confirm that build 4.1.0.377 cripples Bluetooth performance, as has been seen on recent builds distributed by other carriers.

Hmm ... all right, then, so it isn't just me that notices the differences.

Take it from me, folks. The best way to go (at least for the 8700c) is to use either 4.1.0.359 (8703e software) or 4.1.0.376 (Sprint/Nextel 7100i software).

I don't know about that, BT on mine has never been better. My Plantronic 640 no longer disconects and reconect as it used to do that often. Plus now, I can use the BT headset at teh same time while using the GPS BT puck. So I see this update to be a better one.

Interesting, as well. I wonder what the difference is, whether it's with the OS installation, the handset, the headset ... hmph, dunno. I'm no Bluetooth expert, my handset is only set up for data services.

You can get maps on it right now, I doubt tey will have voice as all who have the pre-release OS say no and that it only has voice notes. For BB maps go HERE and for review of teh app, look at Stinsonddog's reviews.
