Don't bother to install it. It only has media support for 8100, 8300 and 8800 devices. You could try it with an 8700 - assuming you have handheld OS v4.2 on your 8700.

It does also have support for Yahoo calendar, so that may be worth it, but not for the media.

I have been playing around with this today and I really like it. The video conversions have gone really nicely and simply.

I like it as well. Very seamless. Drag and drop conversion. Even ol' JC can do that!

WTF is the deal with Yahoo? Is RIM in bed with them? Maybe a little Gmail ménage à trois? The perfect thing would be gmail and gcal sync.

Default Does this version (SP2) support Widcomm Bluetooth Drivers?

Alternatively, does anyone know which USB Bluetooth device works with the Blackberry 8800 (uses Microsoft drivers)?

I've searched and read how to convert a Widcomm device to use Microsoft drivers, but I'd rather just buy the device that's known to work.

I cant be 100% certain Peejay, however I can tell you this, I was never able to use the Bluetooth synch before, however I tried again after installing this version and it worked. However I don't know if thats a result of something else such as the opened up Bluetooth on the Curve which is the model I'm using or if Microsoft has updated it's Bluetooth drivers on XP SP2. I know that's not much help, but it does show you may have a chance depending on what your setup is.

Anyone have any idea why .TiVo programs which are properly converted to .mpg cannot seem to be converted and transferred via Roxio's Media Manager? Media Manager has worked for all other types of video media for me, and the .TiVo --> .Mpg --> Blackberry via Blackberry Video works just fine, so it's not that it can't be done, it's that Media Manager doesn't seem to want to do it. I just don't want to have to use Blackberry Video in this narrow circumstance and use Media Manager for everything else.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I agree. Does anyone have any info on when RIM will be adding Gmail/Gcal sync to Desktop manager?
