8520 is a consumer device, much less well built than the 8900. That's the comparison. Not to the Tour. The Tour compares to the Bold.

Its a "entry" level BB.
So basically nothing to even think about giving up the tour for. Especially with this new OS that makes it run so much better.

unless, you love the idea of a trackpad and want to use it only for email/text/calls and run no mapping service, never browse and rarely use any apps.

yeah. same here. waiting for a curve or a blackberry to come out with the ability to set different sms notifications for different contacts. I only need to seperate one contact from the others due to me being a volunteer firefighter/emt, we get pages via sms now. Itd be nice to distinguish one sms notification from the other instead of having to check the phone each time it beeps.

Tour was the replacement 8830. World Phone, full qwerty, larger form factor.

(CDMA Bold essentially)
