Default My number display is wrong???

Please Login to Remove!

I hope someone can advise me on the following:

I have a GSM unlocked Storm 9630 from Verizon. With my local SIM it all seems to be working fine on my home network here. The setup of the handset is working all fine and email is OK.

My issue is with the "my number display" This number appears on the top of the screen when your dialing and is seems very very wrong. This number is not the number associated with my SIM at all and also appears when you check your Call logg.

It is the correct number via the Advanced option, Sim.

Anyone that can help on this please. Many thanks in advance

Try typing ##000000 from the dialing screen and see if it brings up a menu where you can change the number.

That was FAST! Well a bunch of stuff came up like:
Mobile Directory number, (the wrong one listed)
IMSU_S:
bla bla bla

then has s series that says things like this:
MO Voice SO Home and a grey box with a number 3 in it and a arrow pointing down.... when I click that, I get four numbers to choose from.

Then after 5 of similar ones, it shows:
MIP User ID: that wrong number with @vzw3g.com. (no box or option to change it.

The Mobile Directory Number (MDN) is the one you want to change.

Are you saying that it won't let you delete the number that's there and type in your number?

Maybe I'm not doing it right. I just got the phone two days ago. Tell me how.

You should be able to just put the cursor on that number and press the delete key to delete those numbers and then type in your numbers.

Yep, that did it! Thanks!
I was worried at first as when I went to save it, the screen went dark for a while. But then I saw it was rebooting.
