Not sure if I'm having a server issue or unit issue but my BB keeps freezing as I'm either typing an email or during normal use. Suggestions?

I would really hate to install new version of the software as I don't believe this is the problem. But if need be, I take this route.

Anyone having problems lately?

I would agree. Have you installed and unistalled apps in the past. Might just need to clean it up. If you are on .194 it is worth it anyway.

Where do I obtain the latest version of the operating system? I currently have the .194 version. And should I really even update?

You probably have the auto on/off feature enabled, mine is set for 11pm and goes on at 7am.

I have not had any issues with freezing on my 8700c since November. I would look at 3rd party apps installed recently. I have piconews, bbweather, google local and yak-on installed with no issues.
