I have searched, but not found an answer. I have an 8310 on AT&T BIS. I have selected a default email address (xxx@xxxx.com) to send from, however it seems that it will get reset to "Sent Using: Desktop". Sometimes I catch this before sending sometimes not. When I do send and the Default is not the Desktop, which I have repeatedly changed to my address, it the sends me a message from RIM saying.

"This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server.

This message is how I know I forgot to double check how I sent it.

The "Desktop" is also listed under Default Services. Should I delete it and if so how? I am assuming this is a BES setting or Desktop Redirect feature, which I do not use. Why does it keep resetting its self?

Thanks for the extremely quick response. I thought that would do it, but wanted to ask the experts. I have not however installed the Redirector, so I guess the AT&T phones come loaded this way. My other Blackberries did not have "Desktop" as an option.
