None of the solutions posted have worked for me. Does anybody have any other experience with this?

If you are having problems with mediamanager9.exe
Uninstall it plus unistall Roxio creator if installed.
Now got to Blackberry web site
type in google - blackberry media manager download,
download version 5
don't plug phone into computer untill fully installed.
Download about 260MB.
Once installed reinstall Roxio Creator.
Tried with version 4.7 and below but no success.

The Solution for me was: (all in vista)

For sync music I open the Blackberry desktop manager with the opton "open as administrator", right click over the shortcut.

then I go to Media manager in the blackberry desktop manager and this way it's working.

Fot use the blackberry media sync I use the shortcut but I open it also with administrative privileges.

I'd try reinstalling it...happened here before. I found Firewall to be in a way sometimes actually.
