So i have had this device on ATT for a while now and I really like it, it does all I need and then some. I have updated the OS, I us the DM on my mac, etc.
I went out to look at a new BB and I really don't see anything that is that much better. My wife purchased a torch and I don't like it at all.
Just a few observations for what they are worth...

2 questions:
1. Any suggestions on something new other than the torch?
2. The only issues I have had with the OS is that the ringer profile seems to not ring or chime like its supposed to. On "normal" its fine till i choose "silent" then when I go back to "normal" it stays silent. I have to reboot to get it to work correctly.

What do you think?
Thanks
Ralph

The only "newer" blackberry out recently is the 9780. The upgrade to the 9700.

I had a 8900, and it always served me well. It now spends it days with my teenage daughter on wifi on Facebook! I now have had a 9780 since end Oct, and seems a natural step from my 8900. Well worth a look. Good luck
