Default Lady In Distress! Service Books Help!

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings to all and Happy New Year!
I am a new member to this board, but I have used this board for over a year. it has help me alot. But I am at a standstill here and i have already use the search feature and various forums.
Here is my situation.
I am a Cingular customer with a Blackberry 7100g.
I purchase the phone for 200 dollars brand new unlocked.
I have no BES or BIS.
I have no blackberry data plan.
I am a Cingular GO Phone Pick Your Plan Customer.
With media net plan
with 200 text messages a month
I know about the data plans and the fact that without them my blackberry is kinda boring.
But I want to be able use my Opera browser, Gmail and Gtalk, Yahoo messenger, Ramble and all.
My Data Service is in gprs in small caps.
I have already registered my Blackberry and tried to send my service books and it failed.
All I need is a back up of service books provisioned for Cingular Blackberry 7100g
If anyone has a backup that they can find in their hearts and time to offer me please email me the backups.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for listening to my problem.
Enjoy your New Year
Sincerely,
TS Ariela Blue

All I am asking is for the service books. You can use the blackberry for instant messaging and opera brower. But I need the service books.

So are you telling me that even with the service books, I cannot access the instant messengers and opera browser?

You can't get the service books pushed down to you without a BlackBerry Data Plan.

Restoring a backup of service books will not help you. Those service books tell the BlackBerry how to communicate with the various services. If you are not registered for the service the BlackBerry will get rejected when it tries to authenticate the service that the Service Books define. Some Service Books, for instance the Yahoo service book will work with a restore from someone else BlackBerry but its because that service doesn't do much to validate the user using the service book.

Happy New Year!

thanks for informing me guys. Your help is much appreciated.
I guess I will wait 30 day until I can transfer over into a postpaid account with Cingular. I will utilize this device with a plan then.

Happy New Year!
