Anyone know of any weather applications that are compatible with the 5.0 OS?

I was using weather eye until it messed up my 9700..

I have been using BerryWeather OS 5.0 and really liking it! You can add cities from all continents and get radar information as well.

BBWeather, WeatherEye. You'll probably have a harder time finding one that doesn't work on OS 5. WeatherEye worked fine on my 8530--are you sure it "messed up" your device? That's pretty vague.

I like the Weather Channel app. Maybe a mod can move this thread to aftermarket section

BerryWeather also followes you around. It uses GPS location and goes to the nearest observation station and gathers the info.

The best!

Yes... BerryWeather will set you back about $10. The new v2.0 is definitely worth it.

Yes - you buy the app but there's not any subscription or renewal charges. I run it on my 9700 / 5.0.0.405 and it runs great on OS 5.

Only time BellShare charges is for full app upgrades from 1.5 to 2.0 there was a charge and when they go to 3.0 their will be another charge. The app is usually got 50% somewhere every so often, I'd pick it up then, but it's turning out to be a decent weather app so far. Not the same app it was back then.

To purchase the app, it's $9.99. The upgrade from 1.5 -> 2.0 was $3.99. There was never a charge for the incremental upgrades (1.5.42 -> 1.5.47, etc). There will be no upgrade fees to upgrade from 2.0.x to any version under v3.0... but probably will charge another $3.99 to make that jump when the time comes...
