I am having an issue with this and when trying to call a number from an email or calendar event.

I hit the green call button when the number is highlighted and it goes to phone but does not carry over the phone number nor does it make the call.

I have tried from the BB menu too and selected the call number menu item and then pressed ball but same thing happens.

Does anyone have trouble with the any of following:
1) Mute/Standby key does nothing
2) Doesn't lock when placed into holster (I already checked option under passwords).
Thanks

Issues on a tmo 8900, audio issues as well.

After a while, can't hear any notifications, can't even try it under sounds. The only notification that works is phone calls, nothing else.

A battery pull solves this, but after a few days it happens again.

i',m now having the same problem after initial release all was fine until last week. used it for what 3 months? Now no sound through the speaker....it could be the new version of google maps, or the new version of FB or Myspace.

is this pretty much a bad version to try and upgrade to?

has anyone using this on their 8900 used it with no problems?

my friend is still in 4.6 so i was going to upgrade it to 5.0 with eastern language support and input.

i'm wanting something stable.

Question No option to load new OS?

I must be doing something wrong, but I haven't a clue what it is.

I've followed the instructions to load the latest version but it seems after I go through the process the exact same version is on my phone (OS v4.6) and all my settings are still there.

I updated my 8320 a while back and it updated no problem.
Why is my 8900 not updating?

I'm running Windows 7, and the eastasia installer is installing to "C:\program files (x86)" instead of the regular program files as indicated in the instructions in this thread. Everything else seems the same.

Am I missing something really obvious here??

Just wondering why 822 is still listed as the updated OS when some are hooking up to DM and having it update to 900 automatically?

Because its not available for download anywhere. If you find it available for download, post a thread and we'll make it a sticky.

So is it only because I'm on Tmo that my download manager picked it up?

Make sure your device has a sim card inserted with a valid BB data plan on it.
