Hi,

My old BB croaked, so I just switched to a new Curve 8310 over the weekend.

BB used with my work email (through BES) and my personal gmail. I also pick up the att email address through the carrier (not sure if that's a factor).

Since switching to the new device, I have 3 problems:
1) I'm getting duplicate gmail emails on my BB (I've seen some others with this problem in the forum - but no resolution ?)
2) my calendar is only used with my corporate email (BES) - but I'm getting duplicate calendar entries indicating that the item is coming from my gmail account (how do I make that stop?)
3) I can't reply to gmail emails at all (no issues with BES at all)

have you updated your BIS account with the new PIN/IMEI? You can also remove/readd the Email address to stop the email duplication.

I did update everything through the AT&T BIS - nothing *looks* wrong!

Ok so I solved this problem per the other posts by adding my own email to the filter in BIS (Do not forward "From" ). But I still have two questions:

1) Why does Gmail send back your original email that you sent out? It does not do this if you set it up via IMAP using Gmail's instructions. The disadvantage of this is that emails to your BB are delayed.

2) I saw a few posts saying that Gmail is not a true push and emails are delayed. But when I set it up in BIS, email sent to my Gmail account arrives within seconds, *almost* as fast as my @att.blackberry.net account.
