We have that too: Microsoft wants you to pay for extra features in Hotmail. Nothing wrong with that.

Get google or yahoo, they support push email (get emails on ya BB instantly) with RIM!
Then forward your hotmail to which ever you choose.
hotmail is where it aint man.

Just goto "Setup E-mail" on the BB, its in Options. NExt it'll ask for your email and password. Based on the domain in your email, google.com, RIM will set you up with push sexyness. THats it, bada bing!

np. One other thing, the way sent mail works in Gmail causes mail you send from the BB to double up. I'm tired n probably not making much sense to ya but you'll see

Anyway, search this section and you'll find lots of posts telling how to create a BIS rule to not push emails from yourself to yourself.

I have a different issue sending email that someone may be able to help me with. I've set up 6 email accounts on my new Pearl thru TMobile. Two of the accounts are with comcast.net and receive and send email without a problem.

The other four accounts, thru my business website account (with pop email) receive messages on the BB no problem but when I try to reply from the BB the response never goes thru. I don't get any type of error message but I have experimented sending myself email messages to make sure it's set up correctly and it must not be.

What have I done wrong? Thanks in advance.

Incidentally, I spent time searching the posts and on the phone with TMO tech support. I deleted the service books for all of the accounts that are giving me trouble, removed the battery for 30 seconds, and had new service books resent. Still I cannot send email on those accounts though the one with GMail and the two with comcast.net work fine.

Can you use a regular pop3 client to connect to your mail?

The two accounts with comcast.net are pop3 and they work fine. Since I made the post I ended up forwarding all three of the email accounts giving me trouble to a new gmail account that arrives almost instantly.

It wasn't the solution I was looking for but it's serving the purpose without correcting the issue.

I was just wondering if setting up an email is free? I have unlimited internet access with tmobile, so that means my email setup is free too yes?

I've got seven emails set up on my TMO Pearl and nary a charge for any of them.
