Question two-way delete reconcile with BIS???

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,
I've been searching for about an hour now and I haven't nailed this question down.

My boss just got a BB on my suggestion and he is on Verizon. He entered his work email address (exchange server) and he started getting messages immediately. He must be using Verizon's BIS.

His issue is with delete reconciliation:
1. he deletes email on the BB , and this delete cascades to the desktop (good)
2. he deletes email in outlook , but the email is still there on the BB (bad)

Is this just the way it is with outlook-BIS? Is there anything he can do to get 2-way delete going? I am on t-mobile so I don't know what his webconfig looks like for Verizon. Does verizon use the OWA method of reconciliation? He was suprised when it only asked him for his email address and password, as he was expecting to have to provide a lot more information.

I'd like to avoid the desktop redirector. I know we could add him to BES. I am just seeing if there is another way.

Thanks much,
Dan

BIS does not provide two-way reconcilation. If you don't want to use the redirector, then BES is the only way to get two-way sync/reconcilation.

Please cite the source of this information. It's useless to anyone if it cannot be substantiated.
