Default Multiple Email Accounts

Please Login to Remove!

I want to setup multiple email accounts on my Blackberry.

Basically at this point I want to setup two, both Exchange accounts. One will be through BES, for work to receive email alerts from my network monitoring software. I also want it to get email from my personal account, also Exchange through the Desktop redirector.

Is this possible? Will I be able to choose which email account is getting used when I send out emails or reply to emails? I know that technically you can have up to 10 email accounts, but will this work out? Or is it more you have one email acount as the main one(BES), and can then just receive email from others but all gets sent through BES?

Thanks

i'd set up your personal account using BIS - not redirector

i've heard rumors you can use both BES and redirector - but i don't understand how as you can only have the one desktop [cmime]....

but anyhoo there are multiple ways to set up your personal Exchange accont using BIS (OWA; mail connectore; using POP/IMAP access or a forwarding rule)

hope this helps

Almost. You can have one BES and up to 10 accounts integrated with BIS.

If your carrier is not using BIS 2.0 or better, your BIS account can mimic one email account (making it appear as if you're sending from that email account).

If your carrier is using BIS 2.0 or better you can appear to send from any of the BIS-integrated email accounts.

OK, fair enough.

I am currently using redirector from my personal Exchange account at home. So when I get the chance to connect with the BES server and setup my BES account I will need to remove the redirected account, and set it up through BIS, correct?

Will I need to remove the redirected account somehow? Or will running the enterprise activation set everything up?

Thanks again
