Default OS: 8110 4.5.0.139/4.5.0.102 (Multilanguage)

Please Login to Remove!

Software For BlackBerry 8110 (TM)

BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.139 (Mutlilanguage)

Software For BlackBerry® Pearl (TM) 8110 smartphone BlackBerry
Handheld Software v4.5.0.134 (Multilanguage) from Rogers

Contains English and other languages

This will work on ANY carrier's 8110 model--not for the 8100, not the 8120, not the 8130.

Package Version: 4.5.0.139
Consisting of:
Applications: 4.5.0.102
Software Platform: 2.7.0.85
File name: 8110M_PBr4.5.0_rel139_PL2.7.0.85_A4.5.0.102_Rogers .exe
File size: 84 MB
Note: The Software Platform and Applications version numbers can be found under Options-About screen on the handheld.

Download from https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...C068A355BBA31A

1. Download the above OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
2. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
3. Plug in BB and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on how much data you have to backup and restore during the process. Once it's done loading the new OS it will reboot (it may do this twice during the entire process.) You will see a white screen with an hourglass for up to 20 minutes at a time while the DM says "waiting for initialization."
If, for some reason, you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply connect to the PC again and run Loader.exe again and it should load the OS to the device.

Previous OS for the 8110, click here:

Thanks to Bolin!

Just loaded this on my gf's 8110 on AT&T. She was complain about some emails not looking right. I looked at her phone and found out she is on 4.3 still, so I upgraded to this to get her html emails.

html emails do not work still do not work for her. I tried to restart, resend service books, nothing is working. html emails is turned on in the settings.

I have a curve on AT&T and it works fine for me on 4.5.

What is the problem? Anything else I can try?

Once the settings are in place, it only works on newly received emails.

Ive been have a Java error when trying to make phone calls which requires a reboot. Only happens every few days, but it started after installing this version.

Other than this issue, everything seems to be working fine.

The upgrade worked perfectly on my 8130, but on my 8110, no matter which 4.5 build I use, it starts looping off and on with the blinking red LED. Have to load 4.3 again via /nojvm.

Just load it. TMobile will NOT be releasing 4.5 for the 8110 since they don't sell it.

You'll be fine with this one.

Default What happened?

I tried the download exactly as written but when it came to "Wait for device initiation, it kept trying to connect to device, over and over again and it won't stop. I disconnected and tried again and it gets to the same location "wait for device initiation" and I can hear the PC trying to connect to the device, over and over again but nothing happens!! I eventually get an error message that reads "Unable to reconnect to the device during a multi-stage load operation." If I disconnect from my PC and go back to it, it still won't stop tying to connect. My phone won't do anything now!!! Please help!!!

I'm in the same boat, I've tried all the previous 4.5 versions from other vendors and it keeps "waiting" as said above. I used blackberry.com/upgrade before, and it always said not available, they emailed me the other day and said, "4.5 is ready for your device" i got there, it attempted to upgrade, then blinking light again.

Is it possible that unlocking the AT&T 8110 for use on T-Mobile screwed somethign up, since I don't know how the unlocking process works I am just grasping straws at this point.

Default upgrading software

I thought about upgrading mine. But my Father did his Curve 8310 to 4.7 and it made it into a paperweight. He had to go back to 4.2 and then 4.5. So i will wait on this...lol
