Why did you ask about 4.6? Should I be using that now? I thought that was for bold.

Yep, seems RIM keeps on cooking OS's. Go figure.

You mean they canned someone today for leaking OS's?

Since installing this, I seem to have lost HTML email - does anyone else have this as an option?

Resend the service books from your carriers BIS page.

Thanks - I tried that, and the tried and tested battery pull - it just seems not to work for me on this release. Do you have it working?

Check that your options didn't change. They sometimes do when you install a new os. Mine do anyway.

HTML email works with this release.

Confirm you settings in messages are correct.
Delete your prior service books and resend from the BIS website.
Reboot.

Thanks guys - I just don't understand it.

I have tried:

1. Checking email options;
2. Deleting all service books and resending;
3. Deleting email accounts and re-adding them; and
4. Rebooting.

None of the above works. I am O2 UK on the 8310 Curve, and it used to work on my Curve. I'm wondering if downgrading will solve it, but worried it may not be an OS issue.

Did it load to your device without deleting the vendor.xml file?

If it did... enjoy!

You normally do need to delete the vendor.xml file each and every time you install a new OS to your PC which is not released by your device-branded carrier. I am surprised if you did not, or else did you actually upgrade?

I noticed that the About screen doesn't work. Not a big deal but perhaps a bug I found.

It's a known issue.
If you didn't install Voice Activated Dialing, then the About screen will not function.
