Default RE BB mms and internet

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I had this query a while back and still have not resolved it. I have a BB 8310 and love it to bits. However, I have never been able to get onto the internet or send or receive mms.

Virgin (the carrier I'm with) doesn't seem to support BB which I find ludicrous as BB's are such a popular phone.

Does anyone know if this is true?

If not (am a private user of the phone, not through a companies infrastructure) I may actually be able to receive mms and send then AND go on the net???
That would be amazing and I wouldn't feel confused at having such a brilliant phone juxtaposed with dark ages connectivity.. (I realise this is not the BB's fault)

Can anyone help me out please?

I am on virgin pre pay due to being able to sms v to v for free and call v to v for a connectivity rate of .40c and unlimited talk... (family)

I usually pay $39. and get copious amount of cred for this + 20mb internet per month... which I can't use.. :(

Thanks for anyone's time in advance..

EVEN THOUGH I am with Virgin.. and the phone is not locked.. when I try to get on the net.. it picks up OPTUS .. Don't know if this is helpful or not

Virgin do not offer Blackberry data plans, or blackberries.

you wont get it to work correctly without a blackberry data plan.
