Default Blackberry Music Gateway

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Blackberry Playbook with a AT&T Elevate Hotspot & data charges. Would I be able to avoid the data charges & the Elevate if I bought the Blackberry Music Gateway. I listen to Slacker Radio in my truck all the time but I need a WiFi connection. Could I do without this with the music gateway.

Thank you,
BruceE

The BlackBerry Music Gateway is merely a device that streams audio via Bluetooth from a Bluetooth enabled device (such as a BlackBerry or MP3 player) to speakers plugged into the Music Gateway with the 3.5mm audio plug.

How are you envisioning to use this to avoid data usage?

As the title is generic, I'm going to hijack it...

I bought this nice device unfortunately the playbook disables the volume and makes it impossible to use headphones.

The iPhone however allows volume control.

Is there anyway to get the Playbook to adjust the volume of the audio being sent over bluetooth?

^^^ The Bluetooth device itself is in control of volume when paired with the PB.

Thanks.

Bad design, when I paired the iPhone I could adjust the volume of the audio from the phone. But the playbook was 'stuck' on maximum.
