Hi guys, got my 8900 today and i love it. First thing i checked was to see if Seidio had a holster available, they did not. So i went, grabbed the one from my 8320, and it fits perfectly! So for those of you that dont want to wait, order this one! it fits like a glove, its as if it was made for it!

But does that holster actually trip the sleep function of the 8900? Reports indicate that existing cases/holsters do not. What is your experience?

Yup, works 10000000% Get it. It works as if its made for it. Has not failed once!

Interesting... thanks. Trying to decide on getting rid of my Bold for the Javelin. My biggest concern is that I can't ever feel the vibrate on the Bold, so I am searching for data if the Javelin has a much stronger vibrate than the Bold.

My case won't put my 8900 to sleep and alot of other people have the same issue. You are one of the very few who got yours to work.

Confirmed... it does work with the seidio 8300 holster... just got mine in the mail and used the "test" feature in the options> status, and tests confirm it is detection the holster magnet...

Dont know what to say. I have gone through 3 8900's and 2 Seidio Holsters and its worked every single time without fail. Are you sure you have the seidio holster?

Just got mine in the mail yesterday and it works perfectly with the 8900, sleep function and all. Love this holster.
