i have noticed that once in a while the bes server complains about
Message=[SYNC-PIMConnector] User's Address Book is not initialized in Exchange, sync request ignored {user name}
sometimes it does this for all or most of our bes users (23)
i have checked out most of the blackberry devices and usually the contacts synch fine but once or twice i have had to do rset on the blackberry contacts as the wireless synch under options, desktop contacts is greyed out and not set to yes and cannot be changed (btw on bberry os 6 it is not listed there, does anyone know where it is listed?)
after doing a rset or sometimes enterprise activation it works again
don't know if it is an issue that repeats itself on the devices very often but i do see this warning in the event log quite often now
has anyone else seen this and any suggestion on what to fix

this worked, under address book options the wireless synch option has re-appeared and all the missing contacts are synched up again. waiting for the next time for this to happen
