Some of you seem to be better informed than others of us (OK, well...certainly more than me).

Any news on:

-Kindle - yes, announced Sept 2010...but, anything "lately"
-Google apps - yes, a demo was shown, yes, it runs in a wrapper, yes, there are specs/SDK/licensing issues/yada yada....any news on when/if something will be announced?
-Apps to:
---Store browser IDs/Passwords for bookmarked or other well-traveled sites
---Kill applications running in memory
---SKYPE or other VOIP communication to other PCs besides other PBs
---SMS without paying sms charges per message

Kindle - Amazon has recently responded to some e-mails indicating that they are actively developing the Kindle app for the PlayBook. However, they have not (as far as I am aware) announced when it will be available.

Google Apps - No idea.

As for the short list of apps: not yet, not yet, not yet, and not yet.
