Hi, ok, so here's how I set this up.
I setup a central google Calendar account that everything sync's to and from.
My BB and my Wife's BB have the Google Sync for BB client installed and bothe set to sync to this once calendar. The BB client will synce every 2 hours by default, unless you change something directly on your BB, then it pushes it out quicker.
On the home Windows PC, with Outlook I have the Google Calendar Sync client for Outlook installed. It is set to sync the Outlook Calendar to the Google Calendar every 15 minutes, (probably over kill so I will most likely adjust that)
So if I add an event on my BB it will not get pushed to the google Calendar. From there the Desktop sync client will see the event the next time it syncs and wil add it to the Outlook Calendar, and my wife's BB will pick it up the next her BB sync's to Google Calendar.
Also, I can't take the credit for this.. This was the solution given me by someone on the BB supportforums.
Here is the post in full from there with links to Google calendars for the clients and other documentation
----
Use Google calendar which can sync with Outlook 2003
Introduction to Google Calendar Sync - Calendar Help Center
Use Google mobile sync on both devices, the calendar on Google can be shared by multiple users.
View Calendar on your mobile device - Calendar Help Center
You would be able to sync both devices and the Outlook calendar at home.
With your Gmail account you can import your contacts as well.
This would keep you in sync with both devices and the home calendar, plus have your contacts.
That would leave one DM sync for your wife at work for the Outlook 2000 calendar. This solves her changing the default calendar between work and home.
(If Gmail had support for 2000, your wife could link her work calendar and her personal calendar to the same sync. Users can have multiple calendars in Google.)
Read the links and see if this would be easier for you to manage.
And by the way.....IT'S FREE :smileyhappy:
Let me know!
Thanks
