Is there a way to rename that field? I have used the "user" fields and renamed them but if I wish to call someone, that "user" field does not appear in the quick menu when the trackwell is clicked.

In other words, if in address book I chose a contact name and then click the trackweel, the options to "call" that contact, "sms", or "pager" etc appears in the menu. The user defined field, does not.

Some friends have more than one cell phone number, so I would like to have them in the address book.
Any idea on how to change the "pager" field or "work" "work2"? Or is that a limitation of the address book for the BB 7290?

As far as I know those defined fields can not be changed. That is the reason why the "user defined" fields are provided. But your right those do have limitations as well and would not show when attempting to call someone.

YEp..I guess RIM should be reading messages like these and take notes... If there is no way to change those fields...Hummmm... that's something that should be added in the phone software..
