I have been PMing Dizzle over the last couple of days, even with my EIMI Number that he said he needed. I have not heard back from him after leaving several messages. I wonder what happened to him. He told me to forward him the information, which I did. Anybody know where he is at. I am hoping he is okay

dizzle247 is AWESOME!!!
After going round and round and round with Cingular, dizzle247 hooked me up! I even tried to show him some love via PayPal and he politely turned it down.
It is rare that you see these seemingly random acts of kindness anymore. My hat is off to you kind sir!

you're welcome all, i'm trying to give back to the world, nothing asked. Maybe a favor in the future per say? That would be nice, i scratch your back, you scratch mine.
sorry to all the people that i took forever to get you your unlock code, i got bombarded with PM's here at bbforums, it was quite overwhelming. To the people who PIN'd me, good job!
If u PMed me with an imei, and i never got around to you, just pin me, i'll get it faster.
g'day everybody

I tried the GSM Phone source, price $35.00. However, they were not able to unlock mine. Got to say my experience was very good with them however, in about 48 hours got an e-mail telling may they could not do it, and they refunded my pay pal payment. On the flip side, I called Cingular let them know I was going to travel abroad, etc. Took a little while but they agreed to unlock mine for me. It might take up to 5 days for them to send me the code (believe they go back to RIM for that) but thats OK with me. Already received an e-mail from Cingular telling me the code would be forwarded to me in a few days. Best part is by going through Cingular cost nothing.

Btw, normally I don't ask for anything .. But I did run out of cigarettes .. Marb milds hard pack .. Case, carton, or a single pack would be a nice donation .

hey NJ , if you had an 8700c ... i'm gonna assume you used it on Cingular . i too had this and i simply called Cingular and asked them to unlock it for me ... 2 hours later i got the unlock code for FREE ! i then tried out T-Mobile for 12 days .... where you aware they would unlock it for free ? i was gonna pay for unlocking service but i'm just too cheap .... lol .

Fido / Rogers Blackberrys use 8 digit unlock codes
USA Blackberrys and Overseas Blackberrys use 16 digit unlock codes
