Did you look in the Mac users section here?

Try MissingSync. As far as using PocketMac, lots of users like it. Try pulling the battery on your BB and rebooting it, and trying to connect again.

Thank you, how do you reboot a BlackBerry (i don't know how to i'm new )

I don't want to buy Missing Sync, because when I bought my BB the saler told me that it's compatible with Mac so I consider that PocketMac have to work

Did you try rebooting both devices, the BB and the Mac? and try the connection again.

To reboot the BB, pull the battery for 30 seconds then put it back in. This is called a hard reset. Once you put the battery back in the BB reboots itself.
Repair permissions on your Mac then reboot it.

When plugged in to the USB cable, is it DIRECT to the Mac, or through a USB hub?

Remove the hub if so.

Does the BB show the charging icon on the homescreen when it is plugged in?

It's direct to the Mac, the BB appear in the desktop as an hard disk (you know the white disk icon) and it's showing the charging icon.

But I went to PocketMac and I discover that during the sync my BB should show "Connected to desktop" and it doesn't.
Thank you

Wait a minute, soundtracksparis... which is it, connected or not connected? Your last post says you are connected, and "during the sync...". Then did it sync or not?

Where do we stand?

Oups I'm sorry for my English!! I do it again:

So the BB is directly connected to the Mac and the BB appear in the desktop (as a white disk icon). Yes, when the BB is connected to my Mac the charging icon appear on the BB.

I went on the PocketMac Support Website and I saw that my BB should show "Connected to desktop" when it's synchronizing. But on mine it's not doing it

You need to always use the USB cable to sync. It will not sync properly via Bluetooth. RIM has never properly fixed Bluetooth to work well with Macs.

You can reset the BB using software like this:

geek and proud - BlackBerry Software

You may also find that Missing Sync might work better for you than Pocketmac. Sales people will promise you the world, as long as you walk out the door with their gear. That doesn't mean it will actually work.

Missing Sync comes with a free trial period, so test it out.

Regardless, you will HAVE to use a USB cable between your BB and your Mac to properly sync. it does work -- I do it every day.

Well, actually I never try with Bluetooth, only USB so this is not a problem!

I think I'm going to buy Missing Sync but where I find the free trial, I went on the website and I didn't found it!

Thank you for your answer!

Perfect the demo works! So now, on my blackberry there is just one more problem (with the undownloadable faccebook application) and all's good!

If you don't want the Facebook application, just hide it. Press Menu while highlighting, and Hide.

If you really want your BB to work with pocket mac, look at the post I made regarding pocket mac and how I got it to work. The only problem I had was getting the email portion to work
