Default net_rim_xml

Please Login to Remove!

I got the net_rim_xml error too. I am running 4.0 from the Verizon site. My bb is a 6750. Anybody have any ideas why I would get this error?

Default basically works as described on vzv 7250 w bes

does tend to imprison me in the app while the bb is reconciling.

is there a way to make it the default home page/theme/today screen

How about a OTA JAD file??

Anyone have a copy of the BBTODAY.JAD file or know where it is? I could find a hosting location if we could get a copy of this file.... if so send it to: [email address]

Thanks!

Don't use the postal code, use a location id..

I'm still getting a "could not open tunnel - failed" message. I checked Non-Bes and set the local ID to my location.

Cortezo, a tunnel error is usually because of unconfigured Internet. Please see:

There's a new update out today that includes "missed phone calls", as well as the ability to change font colours for various items.

Thanks Mark but after looking through the previous statements more carefully.. it appears that the weather portion doesn't work for anyone using a 7100t. :(

Long time reader, first time poster.

Great looking App and very useful!!!

I am having an issue with the Mail section. I use BWC not BES. When I have new mail the mail section is not reflecting any. Is there something special that I need to do?

Thanks

Default Install problems

I wiped my bb and installed 4.0 (Verizon) on it with no problems. Then I installed BBToday and when I try to run it, I get this message:

Error starting BBToday: Module 'net_rim_bbapi_invoke' not found.

Before I wiped the bb and started over, I was getting this message so I manually loaded this file using javaloader. Then it moved on to another file. I loaded it, then a third. It seems as if my 4.0 install isn't complete? Anybody have any pearls of wisdom for me?

Max :(

Well, I finally got Berry411 to work by manually uploading the following files:

net_rm_bbapi_pm.cod
net_rim_bbapi_mailv2.cod
net_rim_pdap_resoureces.cod
net_rim_serialformats.cod

So, bolstered by my success I installed bbtoday and the first thing the Apploader did was remove the 4 files I had just put in!

What gives with that????

So, while trying to get bbtoday to work, I added the above files along with:

net_rim_pdap.cod
net_rim_bbapi_invoke.cod
net_rim_bbapi_phone.cod
net_rim_bbapi_browser.cod

Then it told me it needed net_rim_xml and I don't have that file!!!

:( :( :(

I get 'Expecting an element' error on the weather portion of the BBToday application... any ideas? I have tried wap.voicestream.com, with username / password, and without. Same with internet2.voicestream.com...

Im on a TMobile 7230 running the latest 4.0 OS... connected to a 4.0 BES. BBToday is the newest version 1.47, however, i get the same error on previous versions.....

Many thanks
