Default BB Curve Bluetooth issue with Garmin 660

Please Login to Remove!

HI,
I am trying to use my BB Curve with my Garmin GPS 660 as a speaker phone via bluetooth. Everything pairs correctly. But when I try to use the Garmin 660 with BB Curve to make phone call to another phone, the other person can hear my speech, but I cannot hear the other person at all. I try the same Garmin unit with my other Motorola phone, and it works correctly, where I can both talk to and hear from the other person on the phone. I think somehow my Garmin unit think the BB Curve is transmit only device somehow. Does anyone else has the same problem?

By thea way, my BB Curve is under ATT service plan.

Thanks.

Default Blackberry and Garmin 660

I don't know if this will work or not. I have a BB8830 and could not get the Garmin 660 to pair with it properly. I don't kow what Bluetooth software you have on yours but I had to downgrade my Bluetooth software to Version 2.4 and got it to work.

my 8330 sprint curve is paired and working perfectly with the 660. Even the address book comes across.
What I have done is put the phone in a mode so the garmin can search for the phone instead of the other way around. when i would have trouble with pairing or anything like that I would do it this way and it always would work perfectly, even when i had my treo 755p

May I know which version of the BB software that you have. I wonder there is a version issue, or configuration issue with my BB 8330?
