Default HTML mail setting resets after connecting to DM?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys, just wondering if any of you have the same issue. I have a couple of mail accounts on my Bold, both BIS and work BES. I disable HTML mail for work BES, while enabling for the BIS accounts. I noticed that whenever I connect the Bold to DM, HTML mail for work mails will be enabled after that. I suspected that it might be a BES setting that's refreshed whenever I connect to DM, but the IT guys have confirmed they don't impose such a policy.

Anyone else notice this?

You may want to post in the BES section, you will get a quicker reply.

not necessairly, but the BES forum will have people that work with BES AND desktop manager and will be able to point you in the right direction.

I belive that when you setup DM for use with a BES account there is a box in DM from email settings? Is it possible that in there somewhere its set to HTML which is why when connected it syncs those settings?

I went through all the settings in DM quite exhaustively, there's no control on HTML there. Could well be an IT policy issue, as the change only happens when I connect to DM. What I don't get are, my IT guys confirmed there's no such policy setting, and if there was, it would have happened OTA.
