Bug in Blackberry Calendar - Month view
I'm a Blackberry newbie, so if this is a dumb question, just let me know. I've tried a search of the forum and didn't find anything, so I figure it's safe to post...
I've noticed that the month view of the calendar shows appointments as small dashes to the left of the date, but not consistently. After a bit of playing around I've deduced that it doesn't show anything unless you have an appointment prior to 11:00am for a given day.
As a workaround, I've created a recurring appointment that takes no time at 8:00am each day. This ensures that I can always see if I have an appointment on a given day (unless my appointment is at 8:00am). Of course, this looks rather strange when I synch with my Outlook calendar. Has anyone else encountered this? Any better solutions?

Hmmmm, I'm using 4.0 on a 7510 and it seems to work OK. I get a single dash toward the top of the day for morning appts and a single dash a little lower for afternoon appts. If I have both morning and afternoon appts I get 2 dashes. Maybe RIM fixed it in 4.0???

I haven't had that problem but try going into your options menu off the calender and starting your day earlier

Tried setting start of day right back to midnight. No good. As soon as I delete the fake appointment, then all the dashes disappear for days that only have afternoon or evening appointmens. Days that have morning appointments show all the appointments for the day.
