My 7250 came with 4.0 pre-loaded.

Yes, it is preloaded on the handheld but you need the separate install to be able to do anything with it in the Desktop Manager.

Also, i can't seem to find the modem driver for it on the desktop install.

If you have a RIM rep, call them. They'll provide it to you on a FTP site. Or call RIM support and come up with some sort of story...eventually they'll give it to you.

I am looking for the same thing. Trying to install Dynoplex software and get the following error message;

The application "Dynoplex e______" cannot be loaded because if requires the following applications that are not available:

net.rim.blackberry.api

net.rim.java.docViewer


Any help is greatly appreciated.

I used this link's today to upgrade a 7750. Let me get the link ....

Well been thinking that getting this thing to work as a modem would be easy, few hours later damn I feel like I've never touched a computer. So my problem seems to be for some reason the modem drivers aren't going on properly. If you manage to get that to work would you let me know what versions of everything you used, desktop soft etc.

Nahh thanks, now that I'm in the office I think it of course was just the first machine I tried it on. Waiting on a bunch of processes on this laptop to finish so I can disconnect from network, but I kinda think it's going to work on this one.
