Default Bold camera vs Curve camera?

Please Login to Remove!

Just wondering if anybody has compared the camera on the Curve 8320 with the Bold one?
There are both 2Mp, is picture quality identical? It would be good if somebody had a comparison picture, ie identical subject/lighting?

thanks
Mike

I had a Pearl before the Bold and its pictures and video were better. Both are 2 Mp cameras. Pictures on the Bold seem not as sharp and videos are grainy. Wait for the new curve/Javelin to come out with its 3.2 Mp.

That's because the bold screen is better therefore you are seeing a higher quality version, or a more realistic version, unlike the pearl where it is automatically grainy.

I too went from a Pearl to my Bold. Image quality is almost identical. Still looks pretty good for most pic's.

I am having to say that i liked the curve camera better. My bold photos are just way to dark and even with the video still no gain I have photos with my curve and photos with my bold night and day difference.

It seems that once you look at the pics from a Curve and a Bold on a computer they both seem reeeeaaaall close. I have not noticed and increase or decrease on picture quality.

Default Camera Perceptions...

I actually have the Curve and the Bold. As far as using the Camera, I would say the Curve all day. Curve camera is alot sharper and clearer! Bold is pretty decent but not clear enough for me! Curve wins me as far as camera.

I get pictures from a friend with a new Curve and they are as good on my Bold as the ones I take.
