Default Seidio's Super Slim Rubberized Hard Case For 8300!!

Please Login to Remove!

PRE-ORDER NOW...Shipping begins the week of July 30th!

This case is specifically designed to perfectly fit the contours and shape of the 8300. This Rubberized Case has the hard shelled casing and is the slimmest case we have ever produced for the Blackberry. Only 1mm thick, this case offers protection against scratches yet does not add a substantial amount of weight to your device. To make this case as slim as possible, we have eliminated any additional SD card holders or belt clips.

The rubberized material allows for a better grip on your phone. Not to mention, it looks good and feels good. The smooth surface material of this case allows for easy insertion and removal from your pocket or purse. The material that this case is made up of is quite durable, flexible, and very hard to break or crack!

This case provides a maximum amount of protection and security to your device. Once the case is on your 8300, it will not come off easily and will remain safe and secure. This case provides cut-outs for the mini USB port, headset port, and speaker - and the keyboard is left uncovered, making it easier to use. For a 8300 user who wishes to protect his device, this case is a MUST-HAVE!

Will having a BSE skin on it hinder this case from fitting correctly?

So I'm guessing from looking at the back cover that Seidio is planning on releasing a new battery door with a speaker opening???

I emailed Seidio this morning asking about the misplaced speaker cutout (it should be a slit on top and not an oval on the back) and have yet to receive a response. I'll be sure to share any info as it becomes available.

They addressed this in the thread about the case and holster combo

If you pull off the battery cover, you'll see there is a speaker there also. That's why I'm guessing they'll be releasing a new battery cover soon.

You are correct, and I did notice that when installing the battery. However, the skins available from the Blackberry site (and some AT&T stores) have speaker cutouts on the top, where the sound is channeled out of the case. I just seemed logical for Seidio to follow the same template. I really wish they would answer my e-mail.

Guess I missed that. Even if they don't come out with another cover, at least with the cutout it doesn't muffle the sound any more, although it does look out of place where it is.

The two slits at the top are there, and kasperapd was correct. We designed the case with the intention of creating a replacement door with a speaker grill similar to the 8100. The onlly problem is, we haven't seen as many complaints about the Curve sound. Do you think there's a demand for the door on this phone?

Jim...FYI. In the future you'll probably get a quicker response by sending your email directly to [email address] or posting here.

Thanks

We're hoping to have the crystal case available in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks

This case is completely different. The OEM skin is made from a very thin silicon. We do make stronger skins that don't stretch out but they're not available yet. This is a hard plastic case with a rubberized coating on it and has quickly become one of our most popular products.

Thanks

I'd buy it. It's true that the sound isn't as bad as with the Pearl but there's still a big difference in sound with and without the current battery door.
