Meeting Requests - BES - Lost Calendar Items

Hello Everyone,
We run a BES platform with approximately 50 users.
Unfortunately, now and again, we receive complaints from handheld users that meeting invitations accepted on theirs device do not always synchronise with and update the users Microsoft Outlook Calendar. This leads to users potentially losing track of meetings - its a bigger problem in reality than it might sound.
Is this a known problem? If so, is there a known solution?
Any guidance is appreciated.
