Default Major Dilemma

Please Login to Remove!

I have Jury Duty starting on 9/11. Now, the natural thing to do is to go in there on the 11th, make crazy ass comments so I get dismissed and can be first in line on the 12th to get my new 8100 Pearl. However, if I get assigned, that would mean that I would get excused from a cluster$*&% of a project at work that has no chance of being a good project to be associated with. WHAT TO DO? I am losing sleep over this and running out of Ambien!

Too weird -I have duty on the 12th!!! Mine does take all day...uber bummer. One must ask themselves, crappy project or immediate 8100. I'd get the 8100 later and skip the project; The best of both worlds.

How about you do your duty to your community, and worry about the BB later!

that adds another twist to the dilemma, I do want to do my civic duty, actually wouldn't mind serving on a jury, but if some jury selection entity is going to look at me and say, "he is too white, too conservatice, too educated, too gay, too tall, too brown haired, not enough this that or the other" I would rather not have them get in the way of my cell phone addiction. Sure, if they choose me because I am educated, have a sense of civil duty, understand constitutional law, and can logic, then the 8100 takes back seat; I just don't have a lot of faith in the happening.

i wouldnt even stress over it, i know my store has 70 units in stock ready to sell come the 12th. i highly doubt selling out on day one. even since the launch of the most antisipated sk3 my store has still to run out of stock on the unit. we get a weekly supply of at least 50 at a time. a pearl shortage shouldnt be a problem

Just tell the truth, that you are having a hard time figuring out which is more important to you, upgrading to the latest cell phone model being released that day, or serving on a jury. You'll be out of there in plenty of time to get your new toy.
