The premier interpolation plug-ins for Photoshop have traditionally been PhotoZoom Professional and Genuine Fractals. I use both, depending upon the type of image being interpolated. Looks as if Blow Up is is vying for premier status as well...
Don't hold your breath folks - to use the programs you need a good starting image. Highly unlikely that the 8100 will have a clean image without clipping of shadows and highlights and some fringing. The one image I looked at so far from an 8100 was terrible and could not be enlarged. Clipping is where there should be color information but there is none. So something that should have some combo of red, green, blue comes through as black or white. Likely to see that and some overabundance of purple or blues in shots. These programs to make enlargements are great when you start with dSLR RAW shot or high quality jpg.
come one guys you are talking about a phone that has a camera not camera that has a phone. Dont be so danged picky geez if you want to take excellent quality pics use a friggan camera.
I mean think about this; You can use a butter knife to turn a screw with but it was designed to be used as a butter knife.
I took several pictures with the 8100 I played with and they were all very nice pictures. Better than the samsung camera i use on my job site daily
played with one all day at work today and the camera is sweet. it has an auto enhancement that works like a digital focus. sharpens the pictures great. the zoom is very fast and gets in close
