Default Gone For A Swim... :S

Hey everyone,

I know this might be a lost cause but I'm going to ask anyway in case there is some hope. Today, my fiance dropped her Tour into some water, I'm afraid it may be hopeless and she may have to get a new phone. I wasn't home at the time to prevent her from trying to power it back on after it was submerged and she told me that it would turn on but the screen wouldn't work. Do you think if we let it dry out completely for a few days and order a replacement screen for her device it would work again or do you think we should invest in getting her a new device?

Thanks so much!

Replacement time. I would go for a new device. BBs and water do not mix and by not letting it dry completely, it could have fried the electronics when she turned it on.

If you turned it on before it has dried thoroughly, it's toast. Save yourself the time and money for 'maybe it will work'. Get a new device and chalk this one up to 'lessons learned'.
