Why do you want this phone so badly that you are willing to pay full price?

Just wondering. I moved from an 8900 to the 9700 and wouldn't pay full price - just wondering why you would?

many reasons.

first, trackpad. i hate the trackball. it rarely works properly.

second, 3G

third, faster processor. i get a spinning clock almost every time i use my phone.

fourth, after selling my 8310 recently ($160) and and selling my 8900 (after i get the 9700) it really wont cost me much in the end anyways

Default 9700 available today for business, 22nd for consumers

It looks like lighthouse had the info correct! I called this morning to confirm. Business and premier have it in stock. I assume that means business upgrades are also available?

Has anyone upgraded through he business office?

Thanks!

Keith

I just logged into my premier account and ordered it with next day delivery on upgrade! They did say it might take 24 hours for order processing, but you can order it now! I will update once they ship it and when I get it!

Holy cow... full price for the 9700 according to the AT&T website is $750.00! Have they lost their mind?

I see others on some other websites/forums are finding that the price is $750 without a contract. Ouch. I sure hope that is just a mistake and not the actual out-of-contract price.

yeah i wasnt expecting it to be $750. maybe i will just open a new line to get the discount then pay the early termination on the new line. (200 i think?) then it will cost a total of $500 which is what i was expecting it to cost all along
