How did you install this? Was it an auto update through Desktop Manager? If so, just follow the instructions in the first post of this thread and you should be able to add back the docs to go.

Hm, did someone else notice something similar? I could previously unlock my BB by starting to type my password (for example just type in ABC while the screen was still turning on and hit enter, BB unlocked) - whilst I have to press the unlock key and start typing now. :/

Minor but still bugging me. :S

It works like that on my 9700 with .593. I just start typing my password while it's dark. I don't recall if it worked in .586.

I see. Could you provide a link to said version?

It might also fix the issue with Facebook being painfully slow when I'm starting it (seems like it's caching / downloading something and thus the whole OS / app is slowing down)...which is still happening after 3 updates. :S

Ok, well - I don't get it. Facebook is working now but UMA doesn't. "Preferred connection" is set to "WIFI preferred" but it's either just on EDGE (due to 3G not being available in my flat, that's normal) or jumping from UMA to EDGE and EDGE to UMA all the time. However, it's fine if I'm setting it to "WIFI only". >_<

Solid release.

Hopefully this fixes an annoying issue I was getting in which SMS threads got "tangled" (for lack of a better term) and would put messages in the wrong spot of the thread. This was also know to cause an inability to see a new message sent by the individual of the tangled SMS thread, the only resolution of such is to delete the entire tread.

Also, to Rob377 I am not experiencing this issue you indicated. I am able to search my address book and the Blackberry is locating results as it would normally do.

NOTE: I had to use BBSAK to install this version as well, regular AppLoader would not locate the loader files.

I seem to be getting significantly better battery life with this release.

What's up with the top buttons? Their function seems to have changed. The upper-left button doesn't seem to lock the phone any more. It seems to put it in standby (though you get no notification). The upper-right, doesn't seem to do anything besides mute now.

This was pretty much discussed in this thread here: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ilanguage.html

Depends on which version you upgraded from and - during the upgrade, you should have seen the option to upgrade/do nothing, or remove. All you need to do is run the loader.exe again and check the option to install Appworld. Failing that, simply download it OTA from here - BlackBerry - BlackBerry App World Download

That's common. Data is often lost from within 3rd party apps after an OS upgrade. I quit using appworld, anyway.

Agreed... but isn't AppWorld from RIM? Hardly a 3rd party app...

And unfortunately, some things seem to only be available via AppWorld... grrrr.
