That's a whole other issue.

My wife is the primary line on our account. She needed a smart phone back in April so wanted to get a Bold. She got it from Wirefly. When she was talking to them she asked, "is there any downside to me upgrading and my husband (2nd line on the account) not upgrading?" They said, "No. It won't make any difference."

However, now when I call them to try to upgrade, they say I can only get it for $199. If my wife was upgrading at the same time I could get it for $89.

Call AT&T and change your line to be the primary line. That's what I did to get the $89.99 price.

Oooh. Good thinking. Though my phone just showed up, so it will be really hard to send it back and keep using my battered little Pearl until Monday.

I called a few stores here in NJ yesterday, and they said $499 and $449 non-commitment. Kinda a bummer, and then I realized I ave a FAN/Premier account, so I just might get it for sub $400

Doesnt beat when I got my Bold 9000 for $100 from bestbuy brand new, a month after release last year, and renewed my contract. I've been searching for a similar promotion for the 9700 but no luck.

Yeah. Ok. Someone obviously needs to take a break for a few minutes.

FYI Guys, seems that the NYC/NJ market caught onto the no-committment pricing discrepencies.

They've adjusted their no-committment pricing reflect the rest of their Bold 2 pricing nationwide. Its now $449, but the $50 pricing after MiR is still good until 12/25

Yesterday, Wirefly had the 9700 for $29.99 w/contract extension, and FREE for new AT&T customers.

Could someone confirm that Wirefly deal w/ contract extension is good for a family plan on the main account holder? That $29.99 deal is hard to ignore. Also, anyone have experience renewing through Wirefly before? How easy (or not) is it? Thanks all.
