Please Login to Remove!

I came across this on the at&t navigator download site. Hope this means at&t is getting the 9020 soon.

That is going to be my next BlackBerry. Might have to switch to AT&T for it.

From the rumors it does seem like this one will be going to multiple carriers rather than being an exclusive for anyone.

T-Mobile reported that their version of the Onyx will come w/ Telenav and have turn-by-turn gps too.

Oh and in case you couldn't tell based on this forum and pictures people have posted of test devices it's the 9700.

Check the date on those posts, they predate the number change as the first leaks did have it listed as a 9020 instead.

To be honest, with them making a point of labelling a curve-sized device as a bold then they should have gone ahead and kept the 9020 numbering as otherwise they are going to run out of four figure numbers very soon.

Oh I know the posts predate the number change just posted that as a reminder for any confused people. It's slightly bigger than the curve I think, but the 9020 would have to be a pretty much straight upgrade on the Bold with almost identical features, like the 8120 was an updated pearl with new features but the same size. They should just keep a standard between 1000s, the x1xx series is the smaller suretypes, x2xx is the flip version, x3xx is the standard berry, etc.

sorry if this is a dumb question. if my at&t-branded blackberry bold is doing ok, are there any extras in this new phone that might motivate upgrading right away when at&t rolls this out? thx

The Boy Genius review that is floating around this forum can answer your question in detail.

IMO, you will have to be a pretty advanced user to need to update from the Bold to the Onyx. Coming from a Curve like me, the Onyx will be a major step up.
